Artur Cisar-Erlach uniquely connects ecology, culture, and human sensory experience in his work. He has worked internationally on projects at the intersection of forests, ecology, cuisine, and sustainable tourism, including in Europe, North America, and South and Central Asia, and supports organizations in developing strategies for sustainable forest management. His research takes him from historic barrel cellars in Italy to traditional tea producers in India, where he reveals how deeply ecological knowledge is rooted in craft traditions.
