Elisabeth Kopf

Elisabeth Kopf is an Austrian graphic designer and artist known for her experimental and socially engaged work. Many of her projects explore the intersections of visual communication, identity research, political expression, and a deep connection to nature. Works such as her “Alphabet of Life” highlight the interplay between nature and design. Kopf works interdisciplinarily with artists, activists, and researchers, using design consciously as a space for reflection rather than merely as a stylistic tool. Her poster series and music packaging have been exhibited internationally and are characterized by unconventional and innovative communication strategies. In her teaching and research, she advocates for understanding design as a tool for social participation — a medium capable of shaping thinking, feeling, and action. Kopf represents a creative practice that is political, poetic, and democratic at the same time.
